2023. 4 – Potting coffee seedlings
The baby coffees have grown well in the nursery. We put them in the pot same as 1st batch. The work was smooth as the workers knew how to do. The coffee seedlings in the pot were put under the shade. We will transplant them in the farm once rainy season has come in September.
2023. 5 – The coffee produces cherries!
A few coffees finally started to produce cherries. The coffee trees are so vigorous by enough rain and sunshine in April and May. We have applied organic cow manure to the trees in April. We assume it has been working effectively.
2023. 6 – Trees suffer from sun in dry season
Rain has stopped since the beginning of June this year. The trees suffer from strong sun, but pomegranate, guava, macadamia, coffee and others have been surviving while producing new shoots, flowers and cherries.
