2024. 4 – Save the coffee trees
We intensively worked for saving the coffee trees by clearing bushes, weeding, loosing soils and putting mulch after dropping all of damaged cherries and branches. After a few weeks, luckily the coffee trees began to sprout and showed the sign of recovery.
2024. 5 – Blessing of rain
The coffees and other trees received enough rain in April and May. The coffee trees have grown with many leaves and got well recovered.
2024. 6 – Dry season has come
Rain has stopped in the end of May this year, and dry season has started in Kigali… The coffee trees have grown well increasing the number of leaves. Some of them bloomed and made fruits in June. It seems earlier than last year. We will see when we can harvest these fruits…
