2024. 1 – Maintenance for young coffees
The leaves of young coffee have turned yellow showing the sign of nutrition shortage. We did weeding and applied manure to make them recover as soon as possible.
2024. 2 – Coffee fruits getting mature little by little
Some coffee trees have produced fruits and they have been getting mature little by little. We found some fruits have turned pink color gradually. Normally harvest season for coffee is Mar-Jun in Rwanda. We will see how they change the color next month.
2024. 3 – Unexpected thing happened to Coffees
Tragedy came to our coffees suddenly… One day in March, the coffee trees started loosing leaves and their cherries that had been getting matured turning black… We asked the coffee experts to help coffees, but it was too late. It was caused by the complication from Coffee Berry Disease. Unfortunately almost all of coffee cherries got ruined just before coming harvest season…
